Prime Bid Projects and Contract

Prime Bid projects are a specialty of Forest City Erectors, Inc. (FCE); FCE has a long history of prime bid work (supplying and installing) in which FCE obtains competitive structural steel / miscellaneous metals pricing on construction level documents from experienced fabricators; FCE then works direct with the Owner and Construction Manager (CM).  Close coordination with the CM team and other prime bidders is necessary to the success of the project for all involved.  FCE is dedicated to providing attention to detail, quality and schedule providing over 25 years of proven experience in delivering large size prime bid construction projects including institutional, governmental and private sector work in Ohio.  FCE believes in commitment to customer service and integration of our on-site trade work in a way that meets the needs of the customer; prime bid formatting very naturally allows for that process to occur, as FCE, being the contract holder, is closely involved in all phases of construct including project scope reviews, initial planning, detailing, connection details, fabrication, sequencing and scheduling.
