Personnel Material Hoist supply and installation is another area of the industry where Forest City Erectors, Inc. (FCE) shines.  We have been providing full service packages to constructors of all types for over 25 years.  Full service packages could include hoist rental, monthly maintenance agreement, approval and field-use drawings, initial installation and dismantle, potential hoist jumps, reinforcement of existing or new building, floor and roof gate installation, communications systems, maintenance log (including initial and routine maintenance drop tests) and qualified union operators.  FCE’s vast experience in the hoist industry includes both Dual & Single Car Personnel/Material Hoist installations on low, mid and high rise buildings including one installation on a structure over 400 feet tall.  FCE has provided hoist services for new and existing buildings throughout Ohio and Michigan.  Depending on the project, FCE can provide installation consultation on required engineered tie-ins, extended tie-ins, standard floor extensions, specialty build-out floor landings, engineered scaffold walkways for set-back floors, added sub-framing on existing buildings for tie-in attachment or unique installations inside building shafts (new or existing).  FCE can also provide third party inspections for our hoist installations.  FCE is proud of our company’s hoist safety record and long history of working with the hoist provider’s site representatives on both routine and difficult installations. FCE’s in-house personnel is equipped to correct many of the standard project calls for hoist repair which minimizes downtime on the jobsite.
