Red Cedar Steel, one of the nation's largest steel erection companies, has acquired Forest City Erectors, expanding its structural steel erection capabilities for commercial and industrial construction projects across the Midwest.

Red Cedar Steel has business units in Minnesota & Western Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Kansas City, and Phoenix, completing large projects nationwide. Forest City Erectors has been a leading erector and industrial services provider in the rapidly growing Ohio region for over 60 years, with offices in Cleveland and Canton.

This strategic acquisition increases both companies' ability to self-perform large-scale erection services and expands the company's industrial maintenance offerings. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Forest City Erectors will continue to operate under its existing name with its long-standing executive team. Company representatives said the acquisition will help expand operations, strengthen workforce availability, and support larger and more complex projects across the fast-growing Ohio market.
